At SERVE Homeschool Outreach, the acronym not only defines our mission but also embodies the spirit of our community: **Seeking, **Educating, **Reaching, **Volunteering, and **Encouraging. We are a beacon of support for homeschooling families in Metairie and surrounding areas, fostering a vibrant community where children can thrive.

**Seeking** knowledge and igniting curiosity is at the heart of everything we do. We offer a diverse range of enrichment programs, co-ops, and educational outings that cater to various interests and age groups. From captivating science experiments and creative arts & crafts to engaging PE classes with professional coaches and festive holiday celebrations, we provide opportunities for children to explore, discover, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

**Educating** extends far beyond textbooks at SERVE. We believe in a holistic approach to learning, where children can explore their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and gain the confidence to become independent learners. Our experienced leadership team, comprised entirely of dedicated volunteers, is dedicated to **reaching** every family, offering guidance and support throughout their homeschooling journey. We understand the unique challenges and joys of homeschooling, and we're here to empower parents with the resources they need to create the perfect learning environment for their children.

**The spirit of volunteering is woven into the fabric of SERVE.** Parents and educators generously contribute their time and talents to create a richer learning experience for all. Whether leading a co-op class, chaperoning a field trip, or simply offering a listening ear, our volunteers are the backbone of our community. **All of our leadership and coordinators are volunteers as well. Driven by a genuine heart to serve others, they create and lead co-op classes, chaperone field trips, and offer a listening ear. Their dedication is the lifeblood of SERVE.

**Encouragement** is the cornerstone of SERVE. We believe in fostering a supportive network where families can connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. Through social events, park days, and game nights, we create a space for parents and children to find encouragement and celebrate each other's successes.

At SERVE Homeschool Outreach, we are more than just a co-op; we are a family united by a passion for learning and a commitment to serving others. We **seek**, we **educate**, we **reach**, we **volunteer**, and we **encourage**, all with the goal of creating a nurturing and enriching learning environment for homeschooling families. Join us on this exciting journey, and let's embark on a remarkable year of learning and growth together!

What are people saying about S.E.R.V.E. Homeschool?
SERVE saved my son and I. I am 2 years into homeschooling and the first year I had no connections. I joined SERVE and my son and I have made amazing friends, connections, had great fun, played sports, spread kindness, and learned how wonderful and important the SERVE community is to NOLA. Not enough great things can be said about SERVE’s leader Jodie Ellis - she is a mentor, a friend, and a credit to the entire homeschool community.
